Last time i visited my parents i got a letter from the mayor of Linz. Soon there are elections, so i thought it will be just normal advertising for the SPÖ (Social Democratic Party of Austria).

But what i found was quite clever. There have been 6 proposals for posters with quotes from famous people. So the mayor asks the poeple of Linz to decide which poster they want to see in the streets of Linz.
You can pick your favourite one and send the letter back or can also choose one via internet.

Its a clever idea, you incorporate people/ electors from the beginning and they feel part of the campaign every time they see “their” poster in the streets.
